This website is an information resource about the rheumatology practice of Dr. Ashish Baweja at Artemis Hospitals, Gurugram.
What we collect. If you submit the appointment request form, we store the name, phone number, email address and message you provide, together with the date of submission. That information is used only to contact you about your request.
What we do not do. We do not sell or share your details with third parties for marketing, and we do not use the form to collect medical records or payment information.
Medical information. Please do not send detailed medical records or reports through this website. Bring them to your consultation instead.
Cookies and analytics. The site sets a session cookie when an administrator signs in to manage content. It also uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages people find useful. Google Analytics sets cookies and records the pages viewed, the device used and an approximate location. It does not tell us who you are, and it is never combined with anything you send through the appointment request form. You can opt out with Google's browser add-on or your browser's own tracking protection.
Site search. When you type something into the search box on this site, the words you typed and the number of results are recorded, so that the clinic can see what people are looking for and write about it. Nothing is stored alongside them — no name, no address, no identifier — and the record is deleted after a year.
Videos and social media posts. Videos and posts from YouTube, Facebook and Instagram appear on this site as a picture with a button. Nothing is loaded from those platforms, and they set no cookies, until you press play or “Show the post”. From that moment the video or post is delivered by that platform, under its own privacy policy.
Visits and button presses. The site also counts, by itself, how many people visit each page and press its buttons — Book appointment, Call, WhatsApp, Get directions and the callback form — so the clinic can see which pages help patients reach it. It records the page, the button and where it sat, whether the screen was a phone or a computer, and the kind of site you arrived from (a search engine, for example). It sets no cookie and does not record your IP address, your name or anything you type. A random code kept in your browser tab, and gone when you close it, lets one visit be counted once. These counts are kept for about 13 months.
Contact. To have a submitted enquiry deleted, call the clinic on the number listed on the contact page.
